Hierzu z\u00e4hlen Bereiche, die bereits seit Jahrzehnten Gegenstand der Forschung sind (z.B. Gesundheitswesen, Prozessf\u00fchrung in Leitwarten, Verkehrsf\u00fchrung), aber auch aktuelle Herausforderungen (z.B. Ausfallsichere Netzwerke, Cyberphysische Systeme, Social Media im Katastrophenschutz) und neuartige Technologien (z.B. Digital Twins, Extended Reality, K\u00fcnstliche Intelligenz) unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung ethischer, legaler und sozialer Implikationen. In diesen und vielen weiteren Bereichen gilt, dass sichere Systemzust\u00e4nde nur durch die ganzheitliche Betrachtung von Mensch, Technik und Organisation gew\u00e4hrleistet oder im Falle einer Disruption schnellstm\u00f6glich wieder erreicht werden k\u00f6nnen. Current research and design efforts often focus on tailoring socio-technical environments to meet neurodivergent needs, covering e.g. inclusive educational technologies or structured workplace adaptations, leading to solutions for stable life phases. However, transitions between life stages, such as moving from school to work, changing jobs, or relocating, often represent critical moments of exclusion. For many neurodivergent people, non-linear life paths are common, making these transitions key moments of both vulnerability and opportunity. This workshop aims to bring together neurotypical and neurodivergent practitioners and researchers to discuss HCI approaches to life transitions by exploring (I) significant transition processes within neurodivergent life courses, (II) shared mechanisms of exclusion, and (III) design implications. While intelligent interactive systems open up new opportunities for social participation, they also reproduce or reinforce existing barriers, especially for people with disabilities. We define digital participation as a socio-technical design and system task that transcends isolated accessibility solutions by focusing on the interactions between technology, context of use, environmental conditions, and inclusion. In this workshop we focus on inclusive interactive systems, user and context modeling, adaptive and AI-supported architectures, and evaluation approaches that balance the needs of people with disabilities, technical system properties, and socio-technical impacts. We will critically explore established design frameworks, like universal design and ability-based design, and theoretical models, as well as current developments in generative AI, immersive technologies, and multimodal interaction.
