Students*
for the purposes of the reduced conference fee are enrolled students without an employment contract, with only marginal employment or a comparably low stipend.
Day ticket†
the day ticket includes all conference events, including the Welcoming Reception and the Poster/Demo sessions. Unfortunately, it does not include the networking dinner on September 2nd.
The registration rate includes participation in the entire conference programme – whether HCI or UPA events. Each participant can thus freely define their own programme from all offered lectures, workshops, and tutorials. The registration rate also includes participation in the demo and poster session and, for most registration types, the evening event.
Your registration includes a public transport ticket for the duration of MuC 2026. Use ticket received after registering to come to the conference and pick up your badge and you are good to go in the area A (see this map) – which is the complete city and some of the neighboring regions. Taking public transport is easy and a sustainable way to get around. You can find public transport options in Google Maps, using the DVG MyBus App or webpage (https://www.dvg-duisburg.de).
